Employee Threat Management delivers protection against the actions of employees and offers protection to those employees when surfing. Many customers understand that the activities of employees when they surf the Web during the business day needs to be managed. Website Blocking
Many Web sites contain unwanted, intrusive or even pornographic content that may be inappropriate in a business or professional environment. In fact, some corporate policies prohibit access to such content and there are legal, IT and HR issues if an organisation is found to possess or distribute offensive or undesirable content. Website Blocking is used to restrict access to Web pages based on categories selected by the customer. In conjunction with a customer's corporate security policies, this ensures that employees can only retrieve and access appropriate Web content relevant to the business day.

Our managed service contains a list that is updated daily of Web sites containing inappropriate content. The users are denied access to the sites if they attempt to access them a customised message is relayed back to the user informing them that the site is blocked. This is an essential service that reduces the IT risks to customers and prevents HR and legal issues from affecting their organisation.

Internet Accelerator
Many customers want to speed up the performance of their Internet connectivity, make users more productive, reduce bandwidth requirements and make the Web experience faster. We have deployed the Internet Accelerator service to intelligently manage user requests for content, allow Web content to be delivered faster to end users and also to hide the internal intranet structure from public scrutiny. The service operates as a Proxy Cache, routing user requests to the cache for common content. Plus, if the content cannot be located in cache, the service fetches the content from the Web on the user's behalf, faster than users can themselves, by using pipelining.
