Mobile IPSEC VPN

Mobile IPSec VPN provides safe connectivity for mobile users or telecommuters to securely access corporate data and applications from anywhere, across any public or insecure network. The service is network agnostic and leverages the reach of the public Internet across various network access infrastructures - i.e. PSTN, DSL, Cable, Wireless. It delivers robust security using standards-based IPSec encryption to encode traffic through the public Internet.

The Mobile VPN IPSec Client is a software programme that is installed on the mobile user's PC. The Mobile IPSec VPN service utilises the Check Point client software that includes a personal firewall to protect the device from attacks whilst online. A managed firewall acts as the termination point for the VPN tunnels initiated from the Mobile VPN IPSec clients. By integrating the Mobile VPN IPSec Gateway with the Managed Firewall Services, the Mobile VPN IPSec Gateway is able to provide authorisation, full stateful inspection and content screening of the VPN data prior to forwarding on to the destination point inside the corporate intranet.

Security policies can be downloaded to the mobile user's computer to protect against viruses, Trojan horses and other malicious threats.
